Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Resume Tickler (“the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

What the Service does

Resume Tickler uses AI to rewrite a resume you provide so it’s tailored to a job description you provide, while aiming to preserve your original formatting and fit one page.

Accounts

• You may create an account with an invite code, or with “Continue with Google”.
• You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
• Provide accurate information and use the Service only for lawful purposes.

Plans, limits & billing

• Free — up to 7 tailored resumes per day and 45 per week.
• Plus — $10 per month for up to 150 tailored resumes per billing cycle.
• Unlimited — available only via an invite code we issue.
• Each resume generated and each revision counts toward your limit. A generation you stop before it finishes still counts.
• Plus is billed through Stripe and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial periods.
• We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes apply to the next billing cycle.

Your content & accuracy

• You keep ownership of the resumes and job descriptions you provide, and of the tailored resumes generated for you. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service (store your content, send it to our AI provider to generate output, and display it back to you).
• You must have the right to the content you upload, and it must be truthful.
• AI output can contain errors. Tailored resumes are AI-assisted and provided “as is”. You are responsible for reviewing every resume for accuracy and truthfulness before you use it. We do not guarantee interviews, jobs, or any outcome.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Service — no unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent content; no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service; no reselling access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Resume Tickler is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms; we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
